FACS funds services to help to support all people facing or experiencing homelessness in NSW.

These services help women, men, young people, families, Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. They help women experiencing domestic and family violence, people who are sleeping rough, young people leaving care, people with mental health issues, people living in unsafe conditions, older people, and people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex or Queer (LGBTIQ).

Specialist homelessness services are delivered by non-government organisations across NSW. The number and types of services will vary in each location.

Inner City Complex Needs Care and Support Service is a soft entry point for single men and women who are chronically homeless and who fall through the gaps of other services. Services for young people

We provide support to young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This includes young parents, Aboriginal young people and people under 25 who identify as LGBTIQ.

We also have new specialist services for young people aged 12 to 15 years through the Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP). These services support young people to engage with family, education and training, and also help to prevent the escalation of issues that lead to homelessness.
