One you’ve secured your home loan, if for any reason your circumstances change unexpectedly (for example, through sickness or unemployment), Housing NSW's Mortgage Assistance Scheme can assist you to continue to make mortgage repayments. The scheme provides short-term help in the form of an interest-free loan, paid directly to your lender that must be repaid at a future time. Conditions apply.
