Local Government Housing Contacts

The list of contacts provided below consists of local government officials who are working on affordable housing or have an interest in the issues around affordable housing. Local government officials who wish to be included in the list are welcome to submit their contact details to michael.oelofse@facs.nsw.gov.au at the Centre for Affordable Housing.

 

The Affordable Housing Network is a useful forum for issues around affordable housing. Membership of the network is open to workers in local governments, nongovernment organizations, workers in state government, developers and managers of affordable housing, and researchers in the third sector. Note that people join as individuals, not as representatives of their employer/council.

 

The aim of the Affordable Housing Network NSW is to achieve a greater supply of affordable housing, which is also secure and appropriate, and located in sustainable and inclusive communities, in New South Wales. Its focus is on local and regional environmental planning initiatives that provide, promote or protect affordable housing to low-moderate income households
