The NSW Government has introduced Operating Guidelines to inform the management of affordable housing funded in part through the NSW Government. The Guidelines, which are available for download below, provide principles to guide the management and operation of affordable housing as well as policy guidelines on key issues. Managing Affordable Housing Information Kit
The Managing Affordable Housing Information Kit is targeted to private sector owners of Affordable Housing. It includes case studies and information relevant to considering becoming an owner of affordable housing properties. It highlights the differences between managing a private rental property and the steps involved in managing affordable housing.
The Centre for Affordable Housing has developed a fact sheet for developers of affordable housing. The fact sheet outlines the requirements for managing affordable housing approved under the State Environmental Planning Policy (Affordable Rental Housing) 2009.
