Fire Safety Program Overview

The Fire Safety funding program was initiated in 1997 to improve the financial viability of eligible boarding houses and has provided owners with grants for fire safety upgrading.

 

Owners of existing boarding houses may apply for grants to undertake essential fire safety works to improve fire safety for boarding house residents.

An Fire Safety Application Form (PDF file, 75KB) for the Program can be submitted once eligibility for funding is established.
