The Centre for Affordable Housing can work with a project proponent to undertake an initial, high level or strategic assessment to determine whether the affordable housing proposal is likely to be viable and, if it is, to identify options that might enable the project to proceed.
Proposals need not be fully developed or detailed at this stage, but proponents would have to be in a position to provide basic proposal information to enable the Centre for Affordable Housing to assess:
- affordable housing need in the location
- project viability issues and capacity to deliver and manage affordable housing
- potential finanical, delivery or housing management partners and resources
- development options.
