The Department of Housing is helping to build a stronger community by providing housing solutions for people in need.

 

Objectives

In its planning and work, the Department pursues five principal objectives:

 

  • 1. Maintain a strong and fair public housing system for people most in need
  • 2. Support a robust and diverse community housing system
  • 3. Drive innovative solutions to meet a range of housing needs
  • 4. Work in partnership to strengthen the capacity of individuals, families and communities
  • 5. Create a supportive work environment that encourages excellence.
