Darlene Olsen will be one of the first Departmental Client Service Officers to complete the Certificate IV in Social Housing and graduate this year.
Darlene was one of 35 staff members across the state that started the Certificate IV in Social Housing by Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in March 2005.
“This program has made me a better employee by giving me an insight into all areas of the Department and it has helped me build and maintain my skill levels to a point where I can confidently perform to the best of my abilities,” Darlene says.
“I know I can provide the best service for our clients, because I have an in-depth knowledge of our products and procedures as well as the means to resolve client issues.”
