Overview of the Department’s organisational structure.

Objective 1
Provide flexible and sustainable social housing responses for clients. This section includes: provision of public housing; supported housing; assisting homeless people; and assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with housing.

Objective 2
Work more effectively with the private market, local government and the non-government sector to provide housing solutions in NSW.

This section details the Department’s partnerships in delivering housing programs.

Objective 3
Strengthen local housing communities to help address social and economic disadvantage. This section covers the Department’s initiatives to build social housing communities, enhance tenant employment and training opportunities and increase their participation in decisions affecting their lives.

Objective 4
Provide efficient, effective and viable services. This section deals with initiatives designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department and the social housing system more generally.
