Assistance Protocol for Residential Park Closures

September 20th, 2007
Housing NSW, and the Office of Fair Trading have released the Assistance Protocol for Residential Park Closures, to assist residential park residents when their park faces closure.

The Assistance Protocol was developed by Housing NSW, in conjunction with other agencies, including the Office of Fair Trading. It provides a framework for co-operation between government agencies to ensure residents displaced by a park closure have access to services and support to help them relocate.

The aim of the Protocol is to co-ordinate targeted assistance to individuals and families, who are most vulnerable, and at risk of homelessness.
