New Minto neighbourhood rises in Western Sydney

20 May 2008

Construction work now underway on new homes in Minto marks a significant milestone in the urban renewal of the western Sydney community.

The project is an urban renewal partnership between Housing NSW, Landcom and Campbelltown City Council.

The first stage of the project, called One Minto, will deliver 1,150 homes.

Soon the first release of these homes will go onto the market providing quality private and public housing in Minto.  With prices starting in the low $300s this represents an opportunity for first home buyers to enter the housing market in a brand new home.

While the One Minto project has given rise to many challenges, the completed precinct will be a great place to live and raise a family.  With a community centre, childcare facilities, landscaped streets and paths, and six parklands with playgrounds and barbeques, this project has great potential for the local community.

One Minto will feature 800 homes for sale and up to 350 public housing homes which will be located throughout the development.
