The Legal Services Branch was equal winner of the NSW Law Society Equality of Employment Opportunity (EEO) Award for Small to Medium Firms.
Director Legal Services, Colleen Dreis was presented with a glass plaque in recognition of the achievement. Private firm, Australian Business Lawyers also received the award whilst the large firm category was won by the Crown Solicitors Office.
The EEO awards recognise the efforts of individuals and organisations in promoting, developing and implementing equality of employment opportunity policies and practices in the workplace.
This is the Branch’s second major award for 2006. It received the prestigious Excellence Award at the Annual Government Solicitors’ Dinner at Parliament House in October.
