    HIA Housing Award Winner - Wattle Street - West Ryde   This 21-unit development commissioned by the Central Sydney Division of the NSW Department of Housing, utilises innovative solutions to deliver a mix of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units that continue to raise the standard for social housing.
     
    The development features a range of design, building and technology based features to enhance resident security and living amenity.
     
    Disabled access is available to all areas of the building and six units have been custom built to accommodate the needs of specific residents with physical disabilities.

    The resident’s particular needs were analysed and bathroom and kitchen fittings and detailed design features were incorporated to maximise the amenity and comfort of the residents.

    Gardiner Avenue, Coffs Harbour -2003 NRMA HIA Housing Awards Finalist

     

     

    HIA Housing Award Finalist - Gardiner Avenue - Coffs Harbour   Catering specifically to the needs of pensioner and disabled tenants, this low scale development consisting of 12 SEPP5 units, satisfies the design objectives of accessibility and flexibility through a mix of purpose designed disability units and adaptable units to suit the future needs of ageing tenants.

    Energy costs are reduced by utilising cross ventilation and the inclusion of private and communal open spaces enhances the overall living environment for tenants.

    Kawana St, Bass Hill -2003 NRMA HIA Housing Awards Finalist

     

    HIA award Finalist - Kawana Street Bass Hill   To cater for the needs of elderly and disabled tenants, a site once containing 4 cottages was redeveloped to accommodate 25 spacious units.

    This development incorporates a number of design features that enhance the living environment of tenants, including a range of communal facilities, adaptable units to allow for ageing in place, and low maintenance landscaping.

    Additional features such as a lift to allow full access to units, a beautiful common room and BBQ area complete this high quality development.
