Every year Housing NSW contracts work to private contractors amounting to many millions of dollars for maintenance and construction work, and providing thousands of jobs. Housing NSW is committed to using its ‘buying power’ in the market to create training and job places for Aboriginal people, including Aboriginal tenants of the Department.
